In honour of World Menopause Day on 18th October, we’ll be exploring how hormonal changes such as reduced oestrogen influence women’s experience of pain, and the widespread symptoms that are often overlooked. We’ll uncover the links between lowered oestrogen, diminished anti-inflammatory protection and heightened pain receptor sensitivity in the brain.
