Our 2-day CISM Group Crisis Intervention training programme presents a comprehensive crisis intervention curriculum. The course is available at locations across Aotearoa and is designed to equip managers, team leaders and peer‑support staff with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively and calmly to traumatic events.
Participants learn
• Pre- and post-incident crisis education
• Demobilisation and crisis management briefings after small & large-scale traumatic incidents
• Crisis intervention for individuals
• Small group defusing and debriefing.
We also recommend our Manager Equip workshop series for broader topics relating to workplace stress.
Upcoming CISM trainings
Fees: Full price = $900+GST. Early bird = $850+GST if paid 3 weeks before the course commences. This includes morning and afternoon tea, lunch, all course materials and a certificate of attendance (you must attend both days to receive certification). After completing the training, participants can apply to become a trauma responder as part of Vitae’s national trauma response network.
