In partnership with Interpreting New Zealand, Vitae offers a specialist interpreting service for Kiwis of various backgrounds. Interpreting New Zealand provides interpreters in some 70 languages – available in person, over the phone or online 24/7.
Interpreting New Zealand's interpreters are always fully trained and assessed, and adhere to a strict code of ethics as part of their contract. They are all proficient bi-lingual speakers, trained in interpreting skills and assessed to ensure they are competent. After this, interpreters' performances are managed and monitored. This includes providing continuing professional development for interpreters, and formally collecting customer feedback every 12 to 18 months.
